My friend Christel took our Family Pictures yesterday, and dropped the disk off for us today. We got so many cute ones! I was really happy with the way they turned out! Bubby was being such a brat, I didn't think any of them would have him looking at the camera or smiling, but thankfully there were lots! :)
This is one of my favorite Family shots.

We took the kids to SLC to Hollywood Connection tonight. We have gone once before, back in January when Bubby was pretty little. Cam and Reag loved it, and we thought maybe Bubby would enjoy it a little better the second time around.
His favorite ride was the Carousel! There weren't very many people there, and those who were there weren't riding the carousel. When it would stop, Bubby would start to cry, so the little ride operator lady took pity on him. She let him go around as many times as he wanted. We went on that thing so many times I thought I was going to throw up! I don't like spinning rides so much, but I'll do it for my Bubby. :)
Thankfully after the 3rd time when it stopped, he didn't cry!

I still have not figured out why this is such a fun game to play, but Bubby loves to do it! I kept finding pot holders in the pantry when I would open it up. It took me awhile to figure out where they were coming from.
Bubby takes the pot holders out of the drawers, and lays on the floor and then pushes them under the door. Sometimes he even brings ME a pot holder to push under the door too! He's such a silly kid!

Today Chris took Keric on a Home Depot run. When they came back Bubby came in carrying a box. He was so proud of his box. When I looked at it, I found that Daddy had bought him a little fishy shower! It was so cute! It's just his height, so now he can take little showers.
Of course we had to try it out, and much to my surprise, he really LIKED his shower! He's so grown up now!

So yesterday while I was getting Keric's pictures taken, I had one of those "most embarrassing Mom moments! The photographer that took his pictures, gave him a little styrofoam ball as a prop for a couple snow pictures. I guess we both underestimated Keric's love of balls because he REFUSED to give it back. He screamed and threw a HUGE fit when I tried to take it away from him. Finally the lady just said he could keep it! I wanted to die! So we walked out with a styrofoam ball, and Keric couldn't have been happier!
He has played with this ball ever since, and won't go anywhere without it. Well tonight he went up to Mama Anne's while Chris and I went to a movie and he of course took his ball. I guess he figured out that you could pull the ball apart, because by the time we got home, well...this is what he looked like! No more styrofoam ball Buddy! Sorry! It's all gone!

I love this mimic stage that Keric has been in! Everything we do, especially his Dad, he has to do! This morning I found him in my bathroom sticking Q-tips in his ears. At one point he had one in each ear and was walking around with them hanging out. Of course the minute he saw me with the camera, he took them out, but luckily I did manage to get a few good pictures of him.

Today I took Keric to Shannon's to get his hair cut. Chris has kind of cut it with the clippers a couple times, but it was just so long, and yucky and he looked like he had permanent bed head all the time! So I asked her if she would cut his hair.
It turned out SO CUTE, but he was a mess during the whole cutting session. I tried to take a picture of his first big boy haircut, but this was all I got! He was hanging his head down bawling and refused to put it up!
The price you pay for beauty I guess?

We went to Mama Anne's for dinner tonight and after dinner, Keric found some very CHEAP entertainment. I think he could have played this game for HOURS!
He found a step stool that had two holes in it. Then he found some sticks of some kind that came out of the lego toys and he just sat there putting the sticks down the holes, looking underneath the stool and watching them fall to the ground, then picking up the sticks and doing it again. It was SO FUNNY to watch. Sometimes he would put the stick in one hole, then the other, then two sticks down the hole, one in each hole. He had all sorts of experiments that he was doing.
Maybe Santa should just bring him a step stool??

Tonight we took the kids to SLC for dinner, and then after dinner we took them to Toys R Us so they could start making their Santa list. I seriously can't believe it is that time already! WOW!
I have been wanting to get Keric a little car or "hooptie" as we so fondly call them at our house. I thought he was getting to the age where he would really like having something to "ride" outside. He LOVES to be outside, but really doesn't have much to do other than stand and watch the kids ride bikes or scooters. So we went looking at "cars" for Keric.
I remember as a child always wanting one of those Electric Car things. Cameron and Reagan both had one, so we went looking at them. There are two reasons why a hooptie of this variety will not be on Keric's Santa List.
#1 Have you priced those things lately? They actually had one for $400! SERIOUSLY! In fact it was the one I thought was the coolest, and I had even seen a little kid in the neighborhood driving one around. It was a Cadillac Escalade, which probably had more to do with the price than anything else. But it had two seats, and all sorts of bells and whistles! If I were small enough I would have taken it for a test drive!
#2 He is too little for them. He can't reach the peddles, and the ones that have the buttons on them, he doesn't understand that you have to push the button to make them go.
So sadly...he will not be getting a hooptie of THIS variety this year, but I think Santa may have found him a more appropriate Hooptie instead.
I had to at least take a picture of him in the Escalade, since obviously we will not be purchasing it! haha

This coming weekend is National Digital Scrap booking Day. I have been frantically working trying to get all these layouts done, because of course everyone wants to have a new kit to show off on such a big scrap day. I had 10 that needed to be done, so I worked while Bubby took his naps, and after he went to bed. There is really no use in trying to work while he is awake. He wants to help too much!
Anyway, I ended up finishing today, which is nice, because now I don't have to stress out anymore. I thought I would show you my favorite layout that I did this week.
I told you how horrible my little "photo shoot" went with Keric, but I found this quote, and I was able to turn something "bad" into something kinda cute. I guess that's why it ended up being my favorite, because I actually used pictures that at the time I thought were totally worthless. Now I think they show exactly what Bubby's personality is!

It was such a nice day outside, that we did a little bit of yard work. Mostly raking up leaves. For some odd reason, Reagan thinks this if tons of fun to do, and she always jumps right in with a rake to help. Cameron only thinks it's fun for about 30 seconds, and then he's done.
After all the leaves were raked in a big pile, we thought Bubby might like to play in the leaves. So we stuck him in the leaves, thinking we were doing him a big favor. As you can see, he was far from impressed! Poor Bubby, so picked on! Being forced to play in a big pile of leaves! :)

I have six, yes six, lay outs that I need to get done by Saturday and they are ALL fall kits. This is what happens when you are on 3 CT's and they all have kits coming out this weekend for Thanksgiving. Up until now I've done like 2 layouts every two weeks! Oh well...it will be a good challenge for me.
Anyway....I don't really have many "fall" looking pictures to speak of, so I decided to take Bubby on a photo shoot today. Like many ideas that I have, this too went over like a lead balloon!
I found the COOLEST spot up Middle Canyon, and I was so excited to take some cute pictures of my little man, but he wanted NOTHING to do with it. He REFUSED to look at the camera, to sit down anywhere, to stand up anywhere, to do anything! He just kept running after me crying with his arms raised up wanting me to hold him. I was so frustrated!
I took 45 pictures and I got ONE where he is looking at the camera and sort of smiling. The rest all pretty much look like this one! I guess my scrapbook pages are gonna have a lot of pictures of a crying baby! UGH!

Daylight Savings time! What can I say? Not really my favorite time of the year. Poor Keric was SOOOO tired when we got home from church. I made him stay up to eat his lunch, and one minute he is eating, and the next...well, he looked like this. Poor little man didn't even wake up when I took him out of his highchair and carried him up to bed!
I know we supposedly got an "extra" hour, but I don't think Keric got the memo on that hour!
