My brother in law Jon teaches a community pottery making class. He has been bugging us all to sign up for the class for awhile now. He finally had a class at a time that wasn't too bad for me, and it's only for two weeks, so I decided to try my hand at pottery.

I really suck, but it's kind of fun. Keric gets to go with me, and for the most part, he's pretty good. Maybe with a little more practice I'll get better, who knows?

I was laughing at Bubby and his mess that he was making with his Graham cracker and I "accidentally" took a picture of his two new teeth!! I was so excited! :) So here is Bubby covered in Graham Crackers, showing you his 4 teeth.

I have been wanting to get a picture of the kids for awhile now. I wanted to get an Easter picture done, but Easter came and went before I knew it, and so I just had to tell myself to make the appointment and just get it done! Today was finally the day.

It's always a big crap shoot when you go to Sears. Sometimes I get a really great photographer who takes a lot of time with the kids and gets some amazing pictures, and other times I get a really bad one, who takes the "required" amount of pictures and calls it good. Today was one of the later photographers. Thankfully she got at least ONE good shot. Honestly if their prices weren't so good...I wouldn't ever go back! I was hoping Keric would smile big enough that you could see his teeth, but no go. Seriously we had 3 pictures to choose from. One of each pose. I'm just glad they were all smiling!

Today was SO HOT that the ice-cream man was a welcome surprise! The kids ran out to get an Ice-cream, so I took Bubby out to get him an "ice lolly" too. (That's what Charlie and Lola call them.) The man was very nice, he gave Bubby an otter pop for free, he said he gives all his toddlers otter pops. Keric was very pleased with his otter pop. I couldn't get him to look at me he was so mesmerized with his otter pop. I'll have to try and get a better picture next time the Ice Cream man comes by.

Keric slept all the way through playgroup this morning! I didn't want to wake him up because he has had some rough nights lately. I was sad that we didn't get to go because they were going to the park today, so we went to the park as a family tonight instead. It was Bubby's first time on the swings and the slide. He LOVED the swings, but wasn't too sure about the slide. He was ok sitting up there, but when I slid him down he wasn't all that happy with me. It was a fun night! I'm loving this nice weather!

It was SO nice outside today! Chris surprised me with steaks for dinner! We had our first BBQ of the season tonight. They were so yummy! Thank you for dinner Honey!!

Bubby has had his four top teeth threatning to pop through for awhile now. This morning one of them finally did! I of course tried to get a picture of it, but he wasn't having at it, so Chris held him down and opened his mouth so I could get a picture of it! :) Not the most flattering picture, but hey...at least you get to see his top front tooth coming through right??

April 18, 2009

I had to take a picture of Bubby sitting in his new seat on the way to Reagan's soccer game because he was so funny. He was just mesmorized by his new outlook on life. He kept looking around like it was his first time in a car. It was just so cute! He's just so stinkin big!

All packed up and ready for the long drive back to Utah. We had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa and with Jason, Bethany, Roman and Iree! We wish we could have stayed longer!!

It's always been sort of an inside joke that every time we drive to Wyoming, we come
back having to replace our windshield. Well...this trip was no exception. Not only did we get a "chip", it was the biggest chip Chris or I have ever seen. The sound the rock made was so loud, we both ducked! We were both very thankful for safety glass!

Oh my little man....such a picky little boy about almost everything. He has never liked baby food, he has mostly preferred to eat what we eat, and I mean that very literally! I am still amazed at the things he likes!

Today we gave him some beans that came from a Mexican place we ate dinner at. I wasn't too sure how he would feel about them, but he kept leaning forward for more. They were even sort of spicy, but he loved them! Silly man!

April 5, 20009

Yesterday was Mae Mae's 6th birthday. The kids were with their Mom this weekend, so we had a family dinner to celebrate after we picked them up this afternoon.

She wanted a High School Musical birthday, and she wanted me to make Spaghetti for Dinner. I made Spaghetti and also Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo. Then we had salad, garlic bread and birthday cake and ice cream.

The Mascot from the movie is a Wildcat, so her cake this year was the wildcat paw. It turned out really cute I thought. I can't believe she is already 6 years old!

Happy Birthday Mae Mae!

As a side note..."Happy Birthday Reagie!"

April 3, 2009

This afternoon the Grantsville Kindergartners had a little Spring Program. Chris and I went to watch Reagie. It was kind of a cute program. Lots of dancing, and other little routines.

One of the things they did was the Chicken Dance. As part of the Chicken Dance each Kindergartner got to go out into the audience and pick a "special friend" to do the Chicken Dance with them. Oh I was SOOOOO glad Reagie chose Chris! :) Chris refused to look at the camera, but they were both cute out there doing their little dance.

You're such a good sport Honey. :)

Today was the first day of Spring Soccer. As you can see by the pictures, it was not a NICE day. It's kind of a bitter sweet feeling. Soccer games have always been a part of our family since Chris and I have been together, but this season will be much different. It will be a season without Pampa Fraig. I already missed him at the first game. He was the one I always sat next to, and talked to the whole game. Today, it was just me and Bubby, freezing alone. I guess he'll be there watching in spirit.

April 1, 2009

Mother Nature played kind of a cruel April Fool's Day joke on us. This morning we woke up to quite the little snowstorm! I'm all for "April Showers" but do we really have to have the SNOW?? Why can't it just rain? By about noon, the snow had melted, and it was just kind of a cloudy grey day. Then around 5 or so, the sun came out, and it was a half way decent Spring Day. A little on the cold side, but still nice.

Chris was out playing with the kids and I was getting ready to go to YW. Reagan came in and said "Dad needs the camera", so I gave her the camera and she promptly ran outside. I went out to see what was going on, and here was one of the pictures I found on the camera. Our poor Daffodils have gone through about 4 snow storms in a week! I'm surprised they are still alive!

But enough about the Daffodils...Is he not just the cutest dang thing?!? He's a mess these days, but man I love that boy!!

Tonight we rented "Bolt", had Pizza, and invited Mama Anne over. It was a fun Pizza and movie night! :) For whatever reason, Cameron and Reagan hate the crust on the pizza, and always ask for it to be cut off?? I personally think that is almost the very best part, but whatever. Their waste was Bubby's gain. He got his very first taste of pizza tonight. We gave him the crusts to suck on, and gnaw on. He loved them, even though they all ended up on the floor. :) Guess we can add Pizza to the list of foods Bubby likes.
