Today after Chris came home, he took Bubby out to get the mail with him. For whatever reason, Chris looks forward to getting the mail. :) I guess this is yet ANOTHER thing that Keric takes after his Dad in. When they came inside Bubby was clutching the one little piece of mail that we had gotten. He held onto that for a LONG time, and had a very great time with it. He laughed, and threw it around, and crushed it...I've never seen anyone so happy about mail...except maybe Chris. LOL

My little boy LOVES sugar and apparently also loves sour things! Today Chris made some sour candy with the kids from a little kit that Cameron got for Christmas. It was powder,
basically sugar, and the kids gave Bubby some.

He loved it, and he had the purple tongue and lips to prove it! :) Good thing they
were gone by the time Church started.

Chris worked down in the basement most of the day today, and it was actually a half way decent day outside, so Cameron and Reagan played outside with friends most of the day.

Keric has not been a great sleeper lately and I think it has caught up with him. I put him down for his nap, and he slept for 3 hours! So...I had 3 hours all to myself. I could have done tons of things...but I decided to get some scrapbooking done. I would really like to get Keric's first year kind of caught up so that I am not so overwhelmed.

This was what I got done. Can you believe how BIG he has gotten. WOW!

We also went to the movie Monsters vs. Aliens. Cute show, but my animation movie is still "Bolt"!

This afternoon we got to watch Halle and Ava for a little while. Keric actually loves having "friends" over. He's not much of a playmate, but he laughs and squeals in delight the whole time they are here.

We played with play dough, and watched a movie and had some popcorn. I thought Keric would maybe like the soft pieces of popcorn, so I filled a bowl with a little bit. I sat down to get settled, and Keric grabbed the bowl and started throwing the popcorn EVERY WHERE! It took about 5 seconds for all the popcorn to be everywhere but in his mouth.

He understands the picking up part of eating, but not the putting it in your mouth. He would rather THROW it. My broom has never been used so much!

Why you are most likely asking, do I have a picture of an empty kitchen table. Well...I will tell you. We had Chris' family over for dinner tonight, and I was so busy getting dinner ready, and cleaning up, and all the other stuff you do when you are hosting, that I forgot to take a picture.

So you will just have to imagine....an entire full table of people, eating Sunday dinner. We had Chinese Food. I made Bethany's Broccoli Beef, which was SO GOOD, I highly recommend it, and Anne made Ham Fried Rice and brought some Orange Chicken that she had gotten from CostCo awhile ago. It was really good! Bubby even liked it. :) Sorry, you will just have to imagine it.

This afternoon Cameron called to tell us that his Mom had had her baby, It was only then that I realized my OWN little "baby" turned 10 months old two days ago! How does time fly by so fast? Shouldn't it be me who just got done having a baby? I know the 9 months didn't fly by for Shannon, but it sure flew by for me!

I'm so mad this picture is so blurry! Bubby is getting really smart, and he KNOWS when the camera is pointed at him. He immediately starts to smile when he sees it, so I was trying to be not only sneaky, but FAST, and it didn't work out too well.

I was feeding him some ice-cream that the kids had bought while I was at YW. After it was all gone he threw a big fit! He was crying and reaching, and really carrying on about the ice-cream being gone. It was so funny, but of course after he realized I had the camera out, he forgot about the ice-cream. Guess I need to learn to be more sneaky, and faster.

Today was Keric's play date over at Lissel's house. He is getting more involved with "playing" now. He isn't so clingy to me, and he will actually sit on the floor and play with a toy. He must have really played hard today, because he took a FOUR HOUR nap! I kept running up there to see if he was still breathing! Silly boy!

I found this cute little purple flower in my flower beds today. I don't know that I can hold my breath for Spring just yet, but it was kinda fun to find some evidence of it!

We have the nicest neighbors! Today Chris and I had to speak in sacrament meeting, and after church one of our neighbors knocked on our door and gave us some homemade bread, homemade strawberry jam, and the nicest note!

Later in the afternoon I received two e-mails from friends in our ward telling me that they also enjoyed my talk.

I always struggle with speaking in sacrament meeting. I worry that I get too personal, and tell too many "secrets" about myself. It's the only way I know how to write a talk, share personal experiences, but I always wonder how it comes across to the people I am speaking to. I am glad my talk is over, and I am very grateful to all the people who gave me such nice and undeserved compliments! You all are the greatest! Thanks for making my day!

As much as I LOVE this sweet and smiling little face...it just isn't as sweet when it is still awake at 11:30 p.m., but here we are! Wide eyed and bushy tailed! Good thing Church doesn't start until 1:00 p.m.!

I'm not sure HOW we did it, but for the first time EVER Chris and I were able to convince my mom and dad and Cicily to stay for an extra day!

Originally the plan was like usual...leave Powell early in the morning, arrive in SLC by about dinner time, take us out to dinner, visit for a couple of hours and then be gone again by morning.

I really had been missing my family and really did not want them to leave, so much to my mother's dismay, we convinced my dad that it was a good idea to make her stay another day. We really didn't do anything exciting, but I was so happy they stayed the day with us!

They will be gone again early in the morning, and we may be able to go see them during Easter, but it was so nice to see them for a whole day!

Thanks Mom, Dad and Cicily! Have a safe drive home!

Today was the day that we got to go to Disney on ice with some of our friends. We were able to use one of the suite's too, which was REALLY nice with a whole bunch of little kids! :)

My parents and little sister Cicily also came up for a Dr.'s appointment that my mom had in Murray tomorrow. They came to Disney on Ice with us. We had a great time, and even though I brought my camera, I got ONE picture taken, and then my batteries died. I was SO SAD! I didn't even get a picture of any of the kids, OR my parents and sister! I was not happy.

After Disney on Ice we went to dinner at McGrath's. It was so yummy. We got home late, but it was well worth it. Too bad I don't have more pictures to show how much fun we had.

I have really paitent and great friends! They are ALMOST as paitent as my poor husband! I was finally able to see the "error of my ways" and finish another scrap book page. Not only was I able to finsh that...I was able to get laundry done too. Yea for me!

Yes, I know that I didn't post anything yesterday, Sorry. It's nice to know that people "miss" me when I'm gone. The reason for this oversight is actually two fold.

#1 I hosted Keric's play date here at my house, and my intention was to take pictures and post them here, but of course by the time I remembered to take a picture, playgroup was ending. It was every one's nap time so kids were crying, having melt downs, some were already sleeping, and basically no one was in the mood to take a picture. So I obviously couldn't post that.

#2 After Keric went down for his own nap I decided that while it was quite and I was sort of almost caught up on life that I would try and do a second scrap book page before I forgot everything Lissel taught me. So I sat down and began trying, very unsuccessfully mind you, to do a second page. I worked pretty much off and on the rest of the day and by the time the day was ending I had gotten myself so worked up and frustrated that I went to bed not only very angry, but eventually with very puffy eyes.

So...this is a picture of the box of Kleenex that I drowned my sorrows into several times last night while getting up with Bubby. Yes, he got up three times last night! I had lots of opportunities to cry some frustration out. Good thing Chris is able to sleep through anything!

It wasn't that it was a bad day at all...just one of those Natalee moments that I have OH SO OFTEN! I hate "failing" at things! I really really do!

I tried my second attempt at digital scrapbooking today. My friend Lissesl gave me some one on one tutoring, and after I came home and worked for FAR to long on it, this is what I came up with. It's pretty basic, and rather "Elementary", but hey, for my first time, I thought it didn't turn out half bad.

I love losing an hour during daylight savings time in the spring almost as much as I love migraines! Lucky me...I got both today! When I was a little girl my Mom used to put ice-packs on my head. I don't get migraines very often, well unless I'm pregnant, which I am not, but when I do...I always break out the Ziploc bag of ice! For whatever reason, it makes me feel better. I'm off to bed with my ice bag! What a day.

Today was Cameron's last Basketball game of the season! Bubby has really been getting into the games. It's funny to watch how intently he watches the ball. As people get excited and clap, Bubby claps with them. He's getting so big!! Pretty soon I'll be taking pictures of HIM playing basketball! Jeez!

This was how Bubby and I felt about the stupid Bachelor ending! Well, Bubby doesn't care, but it's a cuter picture if you see Bubby blowing raspberries, then it is of me blowing them.

I always get sucked into these reality shows, especially the Bachelor! I have watched every season from #2 on! I know they usually don't ever work out, but I still always have hope. I mean Trista and Ryan are still together...it happened for at least ONE of them.

This season I had TONS of hope. Here was this guy, what I thought was a great guy, who reminded me of Chris a little bit. Sweet guy who had been dumped by DeAnna and had gone through some other heartbreak, and to make it even better, had a child to bring into the mix. He was getting a second chance at love, since DeAnna broke his heart!

I was totally sucked in! I couldn't wait for the season to start, and I watched every episode! I had a favorite from about episode two. Melissa. I was comparing Jason and Melissa with Chris and I. I was no where near as beautiful as she was, but I was always caught up in the way Jason would talk about her as "so different then anyone else I have dated", and "Our relationship is so easy". A lot like Chris and I.

I was so happy when Melissa and Jason's son Ty got along so well! I thought "what a perfect step-mom for him!"

I mean I liked the other girl Molly, but I had to agree with Jason's mom when she said that she seemed like she was a little more career oriented, and not as family oriented as Melissa. I don't know I was just really hoping he would choose Melissa.

I was so excited when Molly was the first to arrive! I knew then he had chosen Melissa! I loved the whole ending, her reaction to his proposal, how excited she was, the ring, all three of them jumping into the pool at the end! It was all so cute!

Then.... there was the after show right after the finale. We get the whole spill about "the most dramatic season yet..." yeah yeah...we've heard this every season. And then...well it WAS the most dramatic! He flippin BREAKS up with Melissa for who knows what dumb reason, and asks Molly for a second chance! I was thinking, yeah...Karma sucks Jason, DeAnna did this SAME exact thing to you! Then before I knew it SHE WAS TAKING HIM BACK!!! What the Crap!?

This just may be my last Bachelor Season. I'm so sick of getting my hopes up...only to find out they are ALL a bunch of dorks! So....pbbbbbbbbt to YOU Bachelor! I will NOT accept your stupid roses any longer!

Bubby loves sugar! We are already raising him right!

We shared a "loli" as Charlie & Lola would say, with Bubby, and we couldn't get it out of his mouth! Every time we took it, he would let out a big loud grunt and then he would cry. He loves his Loli!
